In response to growing concerns related to the spread of Covid-19, the offices of FCPC (Toronto and Ottawa) will be temporarily moving to a “work from home” model effective Monday March 16, 2020.
In the current climate, the health and well-being of our entire community — including each of our members — is at the forefront of our thinking. In accordance to recommendations from health experts, we believe transitioning to working from home will support community efforts to “flatten the curve” of disease transmission, ensuring it is spread across a longer timeframe reducing impact on health facilities. The decision also reflects similar moves made by a quickly growing number of FCPC members in response to the crisis.
Beginning Monday, all FCPC employees will voluntarily transition to a work from home arrangement aimed at continuing to provide full service to our membership, including scheduled calls and teleconferences, member support and information resources. We will remain in this state until April 5th and we will re-evaluate then as to our next steps This arrangement is intended to minimize employee exposure to the COVID-19 virus and support the other companies within our building facility who may have staff that continue to report to work on a limited basis.
