FCPC charity golf tournament delivers more than $50,000 over three-years

TORONTO – Food & Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) members came together again under sunny skies to raise money for Food Banks Canada.

A total of $11,543 was raised, bringing the three year amount donated to the charity to over $50,000.

The 3rd annual FCPC Charity Golf Tournament was played at Blue Springs Golf Club, northwest of Toronto and included players from food and consumer packaged goods manufacturing companies and the retailing industry.

The tournament is an FCPC member initiative lead by the Golf Committee: Marc Guay, President, PepsiCo Foods Canada, Jamie Moody, President, Tree of Life Canada ULC and Dan Carruthers, Director, Strategic Business Development, Lakeside.

The day would not have been possible without the generous support of many sponsors who made financial contributions as well as donated prizes. Please click here to see a complete list of sponsors.

Planning is already underway for the 2016 Charity Golf Tournament.

“Food Banks provides such an important and vital community service, and FCPC and our members are pleased to make this $11,534 donation to Food Banks Canada. It continues to be a priority for us and our members to support this very important cause in our community.”
