Driving Industry Success

From Finance Professional to
Business Partner - Two Day Session

FCPC Members Only
As finance professionals in the food and consumer products industry, there is opportunity to elevate the contribution we make to our internal teams by playing the role of "business partner". Assuming the role of business partner requires that we bring valuable insights and innovative business-building solutions to our teams, while always speaking the language of business. This program will equip Financial Analysts and Managers with the skills to effectively be a business partner.

This practical, two-day session will ground powerful concepts and skills in a robust, real-life business case approach. Participants will learn how to formulate valuable business insights by assessing relevant data from multiple sources, and then create innovative business-building ideas that link to the business insights. Participants will then be exposed to an influential presentation framework that will help them to weave their recommendations into a logical, compelling selling story that appeals to senior leaders.

Participants will work in teams throughout the session. At the end of each module, teams will present their case insights, ideas and recommendations to a judging panel that will assess each team, provide rich feedback and award the winning team.
