Customer Development Manager - Distributor & GTA Accounts
We are seeking a self-motivated team player to assume the role of Customer Development Manager based out of our Mississauga facility. The successful individual is responsible for the execution of the fiscal volume building plans to deliver budgeted sales through our distributor and broker network for Simply Asia/Thai Kitchen, Billy Bee and Fish Crisp brands; and manage the core business with Shoppers Drug Mart, Zellers, Giant Tiger and other GTA based accounts. You will communicate with and engage the third party retail sales team to maximize the execution opportunity. It is key to develop and execute the business plan to mine all growth opportunities through data analysis and by leveraging indirect relationships. The successful candidate will establish and maintain critical relationships at the broker, distributor and customer level within sales, finance, marketing and retail operations departments.
To be the successful candidate, you must be a dynamic person possessing a university degree in Business Administration/Marketing. Previous experience working with ACNielsen data is an asset. You need to have a minimum of three years account management experience. Knowledge of distributor or broker management preferred. Strong, proven skills in the following areas are a must: negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), computer literacy, presentations, organization, forecasting, problem solving, analysis, planning and prioritization. Frequent travel within Canada is a requirement for this position.
