This year’s 50/50 prize winner, Dave Chapman, Managing Director, Egg Shell Products at Burnbrae Farms Limited, generously donated his prize money of $258, raising the total donated from $12,447 to $12,705.
Food Banks Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity, meaning that they do not have access to a sufficient variety or quality of food. Food Banks Canada provides support to a network of provincial associations, affiliate food banks and food agencies that work at the community level to relieve hunger. The network assists over 850,000 Canadians who use food banks each month.

“During the summer months, donations to food banks often decline,” said Nancy Croitoru, President & CEO of FCPC. “FCPC and our members are thrilled that our past four tournaments have raised over $62,000 to support Food Banks Canada.”
“We are honoured to once again be the charity of choice for the annual FCPC Charity Golf Tournament,” said Garry Senecal, Food Banks Canada Board Member and President, Market Division at Loblaw Companies Limited. “This event provides an opportunity for leading food and consumer product manufacturers to come together to address hunger in Canada. We are most grateful for the generous support from all our sponsors and partners. Thank you.”
The tournament is an FCPC member initiative lead by its Golf Committee: Marc Guay, retired president of PepsiCo Foods Canada, Jamie Moody, President of Tree of Life Canada ULC and Doug Ohori, Vice President, Sales at Clover Leaf Seafoods.
