  • Improved key aspects of Bill 151, Ontario’s new recycling legislation, ensuring a fair and sustainable model of producer responsibilityMP Reception

  • Helped secure $700,000 in federal funding as part of a $1.4 M research project with the University of Guelph to explore ways to ensure oats and wheat used in food are safe from mould and fungus along the value chain

  • Of 5,000 registered Canadian lobbyists, FCPC ranks in the top 100 lobbyists for a sixth year

  • Advocated for a science-based approach to changes to the Nutrition Facts table, with a five-year implementation period to ensure a smooth, cost-effective transition for industry and consumers

  • Ensured the 2016 Health Canada assessment of sodium in Canada’s food supply is comprehensive and uses the most current data
